I bloccafiletti anaerobici si induriscono per formare un bloccaggio rigido quando applicati a un elemento di fissaggio e installati. Una reazione chimica consente al materiale di indurirsi, unendosi all'assemblaggio. Non raccomandato per l'uso su parti in plastica, specialmente termoplastiche o in ambienti ad alta concentrazione di ossigeno.
