Anaerobe Fadenkleber härten zu einem festenverschluss aus, wenn sie auf eine Befestigung aufgetragen und installiert werden. Eine chemische Reaktion erfolgt, die das Material aushärten lässt und es mit der Baugruppe verbindet. Nicht empfohlen für den Einsatz an Kunststoffteilen, insbesondere Thermoplasten oder in reinem Sauerstoff / sauerstoffreichen Umgebungen.
