The Aston Seals type AT rod seal ensures a good reaction against shock pressure peaks and reduced friction at any pressure.

The asymmetric lips are designed to differentiate the behaviour of the lips on the static and dynamic surfaces: the static lip is flexible, more sensitive to pressure variations, and provides a wide contact surface; the dynamic lip is shorter and stronger to concentrate the load against the dynamic surface.

The specific design of the seal significantly reduces the friction coefficient, especially at medium-high pressure.

Dedicated side segments facilitate the return flow of fluid in the presence of back pressure.

To maximize its potential, it is recommended to use it in tandem with a bidirectional wiper.

The material used for this seal is a special polyurethane with excellent wear-resistant properties, ensuring high durability and extrusion resistance.
